WIC serves to safeguard the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating including breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals to health care .
WIC posters can be used to create a positive environment and provide resources for new moms, infants, and children . They can also be used to promote WIC Breastfeeding Support in the community . These WIC posters MUST be displayed in a visible area where they can be easily seen by the intended audience. Your monitor will be looking for this, so please have it updated.
