Food for Kids, Inc., is a sponsor of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program. Through this affiliation we help provide nutritional support to licensed and certified daycare providers throughout Nevada. We also provide financial and educational tools to help them to make better nutritional choices.

Food For Kids, Inc. has been a CACFP sponsor in Nevada since 1988. Let our knowledgeable and friendly staff help you provide nutritious meals to the children in your care.

CACFP - The Child and Adult Care Food Program

The Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) is administered by the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and offered through the Nevada Department of Agriculture by Food For Kids, Inc. Licensed child care home provider’s, Children’s Cabinet Family Friends & Neighbor’s (FFN), Urban League providers, Child Care Centers, and Adult Day Care Centers who meet certain requirements can receive reimbursement each month to help pay for the meals and snacks they serve to children and adults in their care.

As a home provider, the amount of reimbursement you receive is based on the location of your home, total household income, or other income of the parents you serve. Your own children are eligible to participate if you meet the income guidelines.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
